Please join us for this beautiful hike in the North Cheyenne Canon Park on Saturday, October 17 at 9:00am. We will be hiking the St Mary's Falls Trail. This is a 6.3 mile out and back hike that is rated as "moderate" with an elevation gain of 1397 feet. Estimated time for the hike is 3 to 3.5 hours.
Directions
From S. Tejon (South of I-25)
Take Cheyenne Blvd west
At Starsmore Visitor Center, stay right
Proceed up Cheyenne Canon Drive past Helen Hunt Falls to parking
and trailhead at the intersection with Upper Gold Camp Rd
From Hwy 24 (Cimarron)
Take 21st Street south
After Cheyenne Mountain High School, turn right at Cheyenne Blvd
and head west
At Starsmore Visitor Center, stay right and proceed up Cheyenne
Canon Drive past Helen Hunt Falls to parking and trail head at the
intersection with Upper Gold Camp Rd
Trailhead and parking address is 4415 Upper Gold Camp Rd

The lot at Upper Gold Camp Rd fills up quickly on weekends. Additional parking is available at points along Cheyenne Canon Drive or at the Helen Hunt Falls parking area. Make sure you allow sufficient time to walk for up to 10 minutes from the alternative parking locations.
As usual, make sure you bring plenty of water, snacks and an extra layer of two of clothing. Dogs on leashes are welcome to join us. Masks are highly recommended and please observe "social distancing" guidelines as much as possible.
